Last night I went to bed with one of those sinus headaches which makes me want to cry. I had a great debate, well, still having it, with an old friend about health care and health care reform. We knocked around a few ideas and I think we’re finding some common ground on which to work.

This morning, I awoke with that same headache. the feeling I am about to vomit, and the desire to claw out my left eye. While there are never really GOOD times for these things, this is about as BAD a time as it gets. We have a ton of work this weekend and I cannot afford to be slow through this at all.

I updated the website this morning. The resume page wasn’t looking that good in Opera 10 and IE 8. In both the text overflowed onto the footer and it looked messy. So I went in and added individual styles to the <section> and <aside> areas in order to accommodate the extra code. It looks a little sparse in FF and Chrome, but that’s the way of things. I liked doing all the html 5 work, it’s actually a lot of fun, so I want to keep it right for a while.

I’ve been doing more reading on .NET AJAX and MVC for a web app I’m going to have to write for the district. I really wish I felt like I knew what I was doing on that score, but that’s the you learn I guess.
